Tripletails are well known for their unusual behavior of floating just beneath the surface with one side exposed, mimicking a leaf or floating debris. This is thought to be a feeding strategy because of the locality of their prey items and the floating structures associated with this behavior.

My name is Joe Brister I am a metal artist all the pieces I offer on my site are made by me from start to finish. Each piece is made as order is placed.

All my pieces are hand shaped and airbrushed using translucent dyes that allow the polishing effects to reflect back through the color for a unique look. After I finish my air brushing I use a very durable clear powder coat finish that gets backed on in my powder coat oven for a very durable finish.

What a work of art !! I thought it was nice when looking online . When I opened up the well wrapped package I was very impressed . Great detail and color . I’ve fished Florida waters since I was a kid and these fish look like the real deal.
