Southern Flounder

Southern flounder and Gulf flounder are known as left-eye flounders; the eyes of the adults are always on the fish's left side. The opposite is true for other species of flounders, halibut, and all the species of soles, whose eyes are on the right side.

My name is Joe Brister I am a metal artist all the pieces I offer on my site are made by me from start to finish. Each piece is made as order is placed.

All my pieces are hand shaped and airbrushed using translucent dyes that allow the polishing effects to reflect back through the color for a unique look. After I finish my air brushing I use a very durable clear powder coat finish that gets backed on in my powder coat oven for a very durable finish.
